Office of Research Assurances

Supports and promotes ethical research practices at Washington State University. Subordinate units include the following:

Office of the Campus Veterinarian

Oversees all animal care and facilities at WSU. The laboratory animal care and use program complies with federal, state, and local guidelines for laboratory animal care.

Office of Research Support and Operations

Helps WSU faculty and graduate students prepare and submit research proposals and review subsequent awards for those proposals with sponsoring organizations.

Environmental Health and Safety

Develops and implements WSU safety policies and procedures as a non-academic service department. It has knowledge of institutional, local, state, and federal environmental health and safety policies applicable to research.
